A Note on Casting:
The Importance of Being Earnest is a play with a long history of gender-bent or gender-blind casting. In keeping with this tradition, actors were encouraged to audition for any role they felt drawn to, and casting decisions were based purely on which actor best embodied the character, regardless of gender identity. The team is extremely excited for this immensely talented cast to share Oscar Wilde’s timeless comedy with Salisbury audiences!
