Community Players, like most performing arts groups, requires support from patrons to fulfill their mission.
At CPOS, approximately one fifth of our income is donated by our patrons, another fifth comes from program advertising, and the remaining amount from ticket sales. There is also a small amount of concessions and grants. Patron support enables us to present high quality community theater at reasonable prices.
Our patrons receive complimentary tickets, our monthly newsletters, and email blasts. Patrons are automatically enrolled as members of CPOS and may participate in meetings, vote in elections, or serve as board members.
We hold a patrons’ reception each spring, featuring light fare, entertainment if possible, and the introduction of the following season’s shows.
Because we are a non-profit organization, all donations above the retail value of the tickets received, are tax deductible.
