First, I want to thank you for your continued support when we had to change the location of our show. Director’s Message It is an honor to be working with so many talented youth in Salisbury. These students have given up their free time to spend on average of 18 hours a week rehearsing for this show. Disney has done a great job with making the stage version true to their TV version. They have developed some of your favorite characters such as Martha Cox, Taylor, Chad and Zeke, so that they have greater importance in the stage version, while keeping Troy and Gabriella the endearing sweet young ingénue couple. The changes you will note most readily are the new versions of some of your favorite songs and the addition of some new ones such as “Cellular Fusion” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.” The stage version has enriched vocal harmonies that give a fuller sound as well. I thank everyone who worked with this show; it wouldn’t be possible without all of you parents, students, Players’ members, community supporters and friends of The Community Players.
